Bonree ONE Empowers Yalong River Hydropower to Build an End-to-End Full-Link Observability System
The Bonree ONE platform by Bonree Data has been applied to upgrade the observability system of Yalong River Hydropower's core business systems. This upgrade has significantly expanded monitoring coverage, enabled end-to-end full-link observability, and effectively improved fault troubleshooting efficiency and service stability assurance
As a key national clean energy base, Yalong River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yalong River Hydropower) bears the important responsibility of ensuring the security and stable operation of the energy supply. The efficient and stable operation of its core business systems serves as the critical foundation for power generation, dispatching, and enterprise management
With the continued growth of its business and the deepening of digital transformation, the coverage and observability capabilities of Yalong River Hydropower’s existing IT management systems can no longer meet the increasing demands for management and operational assurance. To address this, Yalong River Hydropower launched an expansion and upgrade project, introducing the Bonree ONE integrated intelligent observability platform by Bonree Data. The goal is to build an end-to-end, full-link observability system covering the company’s core business systems, comprehensively enhancing IT operations and maintenance efficiency and service stability, and providing solid technical support for the reliable supply of clean energy.
1. Limited Coverage of Existing Systems
The APM, DEM, and NPM systems established by Yalong River Hydropower in 2022 currently provide unified management only for the OA system, corporate portal, EBS, and logistics management systems. Major systems such as power production management, Long’an, procurement, and contract management have not yet been incorporated into the existing monitoring framework
2. End-to-End Full-Link Observability Not Yet Achieved
The existing systems have not established end-to-end full-link observability for newly added business systems—from frontend user experience to backend infrastructure and network links. The real-time responsiveness, accuracy, and coverage of fault detection still need improvement
3. Fault Troubleshooting Efficiency Needs Improvement
Due to fragmented links and insufficient data integration in the current monitoring system, fault location and troubleshooting processes are time-consuming, which impacts service continuity and stability
1. Expansion of Business System Monitoring Capabilities:
By integrating Application Performance Management (APM), Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), and Network Performance Management (NPM) for newly added business systems, comprehensive monitoring of performance, user experience, and network status is achieved for nearly 10 systems, including power production management, Long’an, procurement, and contract management
2. Intelligent Operations Platform Data Integration:
By integrating log data from bastion hosts, Yashui Cloud, and business systems into Bonree ONE—along with frontend web experience data, mobile app experience data, and intra-cloud host traffic—the platform enables full-path network tracing and analysis for newly added business systems. An “Information Systems Overview Map” provides a visualized display of the operational status of all systems.
3. Full-Chain Data Collection and View Construction:
Data integration was completed for systems such as Yashui Cloud, bastion hosts, Beita, and Dingjia Backup. Log data, performance data, and network data were collected from systems like power production and Long’an. Business topology status views and full-chain status views were established to support intelligent metric scenario building, unified alert aggregation, anomaly detection, and visualized analysis
4. Infrastructure Expansion and Auditing:
With the help of the Bonree ONE integrated intelligent observability platform, Yalongjiang Hydropower completed the backup system expansion with a 20TB capacity upgrade and implemented audit logging for operations performed by maintenance users, ensuring data storage capacity and operational compliance

Through the Bonree ONE platform, Yalongjiang Hydropower has achieved full-chain integration from user frontend experience to backend infrastructure and network links, covering nearly 10 newly added core business systems, forming a unified observability system

Enhanced the real-time accuracy of fault detection and shortened fault troubleshooting time. By leveraging intelligent metric scenarios and alarm consolidation mechanisms, ineffective alarms are reduced, thereby improving IT operations and maintenance response efficiency
3. Service Stability Assurance:
Achieved comprehensive monitoring of business system performance, network status, and user experience to promptly identify potential risks and ensure service continuity and stability
4. Visualization and Intelligent Analysis:
Based on the "Single View of Information Systems" and the end-to-end status view, it provides multi-dimensional visualization and analysis capabilities, supporting business impact assessment and root cause identification to assist in optimized decision-making
4. Data Integration and Capacity Expansion Implementation:
Completed data integration and collection across multiple systems, while also achieving backup system capacity expansion and operational audit for maintenance, strengthening the foundation of data management and security
The Bonree ONE platform from Bonree was applied to upgrade the observability system of Yalongjiang Hydropower’s core business systems, significantly expanding monitoring coverage, enabling end-to-end full-link observability, and effectively improving fault diagnosis efficiency and service stability assurance. This implementation not only addressed the current operational pain points of Yalongjiang Hydropower but also provided a valuable successful experience for large energy enterprises in building intelligent, integrated observability systems to ensure the continuity and stability of critical business operations.
